Questions
The things people ask
If yours is not here, call us. It is a small team and one of us will know the answer.
Shipping and receiving
How early can I send my boxes?
Aim to have them arrive within three days of your event’s start or setup date. Inside that window there is no storage charge at all; past it, storage is $15 a day for days four to seven and $25 a day from day eight.
That one sentence is the whole storage-fee story, and it is the single most useful thing to get right.
How should I address a shipment?
Send it to the JW Marriott Camelback Inn, 5402 E Lincoln Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85253, addressed to your company or recipient name — and put your event name in the comment line.
The event name is what routes a shipment to the right room instead of into general storage. It is not optional.
How do I know my packages arrived?
Every package is barcode scanned on arrival and assigned to your event. You can track a single shipment at ybcconnect.com with just the carrier tracking number — no app and no account.
Event coordinators can be given a private access code that shows everything tied to the event in one live view.
How are handling fees worked out?
By weight, and per package — a shipment of several boxes is charged individually rather than as one flat rate, because each box is received, scanned, organised and staged on its own.
Handling covers exactly that. Anything beyond it — unpacking, staging into a room, moving between spaces — is labor at $60 an hour. Internal mail is never charged.
Can you ship everything home afterwards?
Yes — parcel and freight, including crating, palletizing and custom packaging. We collect ready-to-return material from each booth at the end of an event rather than waiting for it to be brought to us.
Return labels can be generated at standard retail carrier rates.
Printing
How quickly can you print something?
Most products take seven business days. Flyers, brochures and posters can often be turned around within 24 hours.
Print is produced on site and is typically ready the next day. If your timing is tighter than that, ask — we would rather tell you straight than have you find out late.
How do I send you files?
Email them to us with the quantity, size and when you need them. There is no upload form on this site; email reaches the same people faster.
What can you print?
Small format covers copies, booklets, business cards, catalogs, flyers, brochures, postcards, stickers and menus. Large format covers banners, fabric banners, flags, floor, wall and window graphics, mounted canvas, posters, PVC signs and table runners.
Finishing includes lamination, comb and coil binding, hemming, cutting, folding and perforating. Volume runs and rigid signage go to our Phoenix facility.
Event branding
When do you need our artwork?
Print-ready files two weeks before your event start date for space branding. Smaller pieces — agendas, name badges — can be days out.
What does the price include?
Everything: producing the graphic, installing it, removing it afterwards, and the hotel’s space rental fee. The figure on each area is what it costs, not a starting point.
Where an area can be produced in more than one material, each material’s price is shown so you can see the range before choosing.
Do we need approval for a placement?
Yes — all placements need your Event Manager’s approval. Overhead banners must be vinyl or cloth, and our own installers hang them along with everything else.
Can we get design templates?
Yes. Each brandable area has its own template with the dimensions, bleed and safe area, and you will need the access code we give you to download it.
Can you brand something that is not listed?
Probably. The list covers most of the Arizona and Paradise ballrooms plus a few areas elsewhere, but it is not the whole building. Ask and we will work out whether it can be done and what it would cost.
Visiting us
Where are you in the hotel?
Between the Mesquite and Saguaro meeting rooms, in the wing across Paradise Terrace from the Resort Shop — just north-east of Paradise Ballroom. There is a map on the contact page.
What are your hours?
There are two sets, regular and summer, and summer closes an hour earlier on weekdays and three hours earlier at weekends. The current set is shown at the top of the home page, and both are on the contact page.
If you are planning around a weekend, call ahead.
What else can I get at the counter?
Notary services, office supplies, packaging materials, return labels at standard retail rates, and copies or small-format print while you wait.
